Posted by eto in Euro2008 Hotel, Euro2008 news, Geneva Hotel
Geneva, or Genéve, is the second largest city in Switzerland. Geneva is located very close to the French border, most in the western part of Switzerland. Many large organisations, such as the UN, WTO and WHO, has been their main offices here. Hotels close to the city centre can be quite expensive, but many hotels are located elsewhere outside Geneva, as well.
The largest stadium in Geneva has been called the Stade de Geneva, and sits just 3 kilometers from the town centre, near the French border. It boasts 30000 seats, and that is very modern, was opened as late as 2003. It also has its own hotel, but are waiting for prices to be relatively expensive during the Euro 2008.
